I came here at Pikom PC Fair thinking got many bargains I can find. Frankly I prefer PWTC because I feel at the KL Convention Center is more congested and also parking is more expensive.
First booth I saw was the Nikon booth and when I checked out the price was very dissappointing as the price of a D90 body was around Rm3000+. That was the old price for goodness sake. With the price competition with Canon, the price of a D90 already drop to Rm2,500. There really no good deal at all.
Generally nothing interesting. This Kapersky booth seem more interesting at least with Jacky Chan face on the poster punching your face to buy the software.
The promotion girl also yawning due to the boringness of the PC Fair.
Garmin seem to heavily promoting the car navigator Nuvi 1250 rather than the handheld like Oregon or Dakota.
There seem to have a broadband war going on at the PC Fair with Celcom, Digi, Maxis, P1 and Amax promoters bugging visiters to sign up.
This Perodua MYVI nicely decorated for the coming FIFA World Cup.
In general, the PC Fair seem to lose the edge of giving consumer the value the money like before. The price of the item does not justify the trouble and the cost for coming at all. One word . " Dissappointing ".
